Do you do the cleaning yourselves?
No. We arrange quotes and pass your enquiry to an independent specialist extract cleaning provider covering Leeds and West Yorkshire. They carry out the work to the TR19 Grease standard and issue the certificate.

How often should my kitchen be cleaned?
TR19 Grease sets minimums of every three months for kitchens cooking 12 to 16 hours a day, six months for 6 to 12 hours and twelve months for 2 to 6 hours. The provider confirms the right interval from grease readings.
What does a full clean include?
The canopy and filters, the plenum, the full ductwork run to the outside, the extract fan and the discharge, with grease readings, photographs and a certificate.
Will I need to close?
Usually not during trading. Cleans are normally booked early morning, overnight or on a closed day.
What paperwork will I get?
A post-clean report with before-and-after photographs, grease readings and a certificate showing the date and the next recommended clean.
Is TR19 a legal requirement?
TR19 itself is guidance, but the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires you to manage fire risk, and insurers and fire risk assessors use TR19 Grease as the benchmark.
Do care homes need anything different?
Care home kitchens are regulated by the CQC and cannot usually close, so cleans are planned around meal service. See care homes.
